The Gospel

We all have a universal problem...

We believe that all humans have a universal problem with a massive consequence: sin.

In essence, sin is what separates us from God, originating from the fall in the Garden of Eden when mankind rebelled against God’s way. However, despite this separation, God lovingly provided a path of reconciliation for us through His Son, Jesus Christ. The term “gospel” translates to “good news.”  The gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

Jesus rescues us from that problem...

Because of our sin, we are deserving of eternity apart from God. But Jesus Christ came into the world to rescue us from our sin. Jesus is the only human in all history who lived without sin - He was perfect! Yet, he saw the massive consequence awaiting humanity and out of love took the punishment of our sin upon himself by dying on the cross.

Because of Jesus' death and resurrection, we are now free from the bondage of our sin and the eternal condemnation that we deserve.

"The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." - 1 Corinthians 15:56-57

"For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." - 2 Corinthians 5:21

and now new life now awaits!

Romans 10:9-10 tells us, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved."

The gospel requires a response from us. In order to receive forgiveness for your sins and have eternal life with Jesus, you must confess your sin and put your trust in what Jesus has done on your behalf on the cross. When you do this, your sin and judgment are left behind because they died with Jesus. You become born again!

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." - 2 Corinthians 5:17

Responding to the Gospel

Responding to the Gospel begins with a sincere conversation with God inviting Jesus to be Lord of our lives. Here’s a guide to help you in this significant step:

“Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned against You.
I turn from my sin right now.
I believe that You died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins.
I receive You as the Lord and Savior of my life. I give my life to You.
In Jesus’ name,  Amen.”

If this is a commitment you have sincerely made, we would love to connect and celebrate this with you!
